Terms of Service

The service

EasyHR provides software for payroll, attendance, leave, compliance tracking, recruitment and related HR tasks for Malaysian employers. Add-on modules are offered separately. We may improve or change features, and will not remove a paid feature without notice.

Free trial and plans

A new company may use the service free of charge for the trial period shown on the pricing page. At the end of the trial the company chooses a plan or the account stops accepting new employees. Prices, plan limits and add-ons are shown on the pricing page and may change for future billing periods with notice.

Only Active and Trial employees count towards a plan's limit. A grace allowance above the limit applies for a limited time as stated on the billing page.

Fees and tax

Fees are charged in Malaysian ringgit. Sales and Service Tax is added where applicable. Fees already paid are not refunded except where the law requires.

Your responsibilities

• Give accurate information, keep sign-in details secret and tell us promptly of any misuse.
• Have the right to enter the personal data you add, and tell your employees and candidates how it is used.
• Check statutory calculations and filings with your own advisers. EasyHR records and reminds; it does not file with, or verify against, any government system, and it is not legal, tax or immigration advice.
• Do not misuse the service: no attempts to access other customers' data, no unlawful content, no overloading the service.

Your data

Your data stays yours. We process it only to provide the service, as set out in the Data Processing Terms. When the subscription ends you can export your data for 30 days; after that we delete it, except records we must keep by law.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the service available and take regular backups, but we do not promise it will never be interrupted. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for a claim is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months before it, and we are not liable for indirect loss.

Ending the agreement

You may stop at any time. We may suspend or end an account for non-payment or serious misuse, giving notice where we reasonably can.
